I'm a Geelong-based artist creating pet portraits and expressive nature-inspired artwork that honour connection, memory, and the quiet beauty of the natural world.

Art has always been the place I returned to. From sketching endlessly as a child to developing my practice through portraiture, creating has always something I've instinctively been drawn back to. My early work focused on realism, where I developed a strong technical foundation in portraiture and watercolour. Over time, I began searching for something deeper than accuracy alone. I wanted my work to hold feeling — to capture presence, emotion, and connection, not just likeness. That shift was shaped by nature.

I'm drawn to the imperfect beauty of things shaped by time — aged textures, collected objects, organic forms, and the stories they carry. That same sense of history and feeling is something I aim to bring into my work. Animals sit at the heart of my practice. Through my portraits, I aim to capture more than physical likeness. I focus on the spirit of each animal — the expression in their eyes, their energy, their individuality, and the connection they shared with the people who loved them.

As a dog owner myself, I understand how profound that bond can be. My dogs, Rosie and Archie, taught me the depth of unconditional love and changed the way I understand connection. That experience continues to guide the care and intention I bring to every work of art I create.

Whether through commissioned pet portraits or my evolving expressive works, my intention is the same: to create art that preserves feeling. Art that allows memory, nature, and emotion to be held in a tangible form.
